I have a Dell and the owner's manual says NOT to use alcohol. So I never have. But I did get a box of specially prepared cleaning cloths for computer screens (100 to a box) for about $3.50 in WalMart. And they've worked well. If you use one a week, it'll last almost 2 years. Not a bad investment. :-)

Microfiber cloth, slightly damp with warm water works wonders even on greasy smudges!

Its sold in most computer supply or office supply stores.

Get a can of compressed air from Office Max. If that does not do the trick, wipe it with a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol (not beer or wine lol) on the cotton ball.
