Hi!
I suggest you to go to the link I gave you at the end of this...
Kilo K 2^10 = 1,024
Mega M 2^20 = 1,048,576
Giga G 2^30 = 1,073,741,824
Tera T 2^40 = 1,099,511,627,776
Peta P 2^50 = 1,125,899,906,842,624
Exa E 2^60 = 1,152,921,504,606,846,976
Zetta Z 2^70 = 1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424
Yotta Y 2^80 = 1,208,925,819,614,629,174,706,176
And a nibble is 4 bits...

There are 8 bits in 1 byte and 4 bits in a nibble (or nybble). There are 1024 (2^10) bytes in a kilobyte, 1048576 (2^20) bytes in a megabyte, 1073741824 (2^30) bytes in a gigabyte, and 1099511627776 (2^40) bytes in a terabyte. Then it gets ridiculously large with petabyte, exabyte, etc. Because these number are so big and most people understand a base 10 system rather than a base 2, hard drive manuafactures market hard drives where a GB is 1000 MB.

A terabyte is 1000 gigabytes, so it's 1 million megabytes. 1 billion kilobytes in a terabyte.

-- 8 bits in a byte
-- 4 bits in a nibble (I think)
-- 1024 bytes in a kilobyte (kb)
-- 1024 kilobytes in a megabyte (mb) or 1,048,576 bytes
-- 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte (gb) or 1,073,741,824 bytes
-- 1024 gibabytes in a terabyte (tb) or 1,099,511,627,776

Hello Texman. There are 1000 megabytes in one gigabyte. There are 1000 gigabytes in one terabyte. I hope that answers your question.
