Well I do know why/when we use MAC/IP address, but I just thought what would be the most good answer you can provide for this when asked during interviews.

If I run my internet from modem into router then from router to computer, I cannot access the internet. I used tech support, but they could only diagnose if I am haveing hardware issues because I am out of warranty. So the router and cables are working perfectly. My problem is the software configuration. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this problem?

Remember the hardware is working perfectly-->Cables are good

I have the security setup for a passphrase. Is there a guide as to how to setup my network (I would like to maintain the security) to allow Sony PSP to connect. Also, I spoke to Linksys concerning 2 user accounts on a laptop (Windows XP Home edition), basically I was told that only one user account will be able to access the internet. This doesn't seem right to me. What would be the point of using a wireless network, if only one person's account can access the internet. Linksys WPC54G

Youtube currently does that and look at successful they are.

Even though macs are a smaller percentage of the market you are still excluding a large amount of potential ad revenue. When I send a file to a person, I make sure it is not just a PICT format but one that will work with both systems. Why can others be as considerate?

I have a home network and im trying to connect to a one of my pc's with an ip address of 192.168.1.100 ....the other pc ip is 192.168.1.102 ...now how can i use remote desktop to connect to the pc 192.168.1.1 ...i entered that number in the remote desktop connection window and it does connect to the pc but it wont accept the password that i normally use? saying .."the system cannot log you in make sure user name and domain are correct and type password again...." ....i though that usually if your connecting remotely within a network it should work no problem using the ip address that the router distributes....

Recently done an internet upgrade to a faster speed ADSL broadband connection, it is networked through a router via ethernet and wifi and all the computers work ok most of the time except one which has now stopped working. The internet into that machine is hardwired but other computers work both wirelessly and through ethernet as well as a nintendo ds. I think network might be getting jammed at times. Please help?
