Providing you have come to the end of your minimum term contract and given the right amount of notice, it should be fairly straightforward. Sky Broadband would do a standard credit check on you before accepting you as a customer. If they do, you need to ask BT for an MAC code which is some sort of transfer thing. This way they confirm that you are leaving them and technically they should stop charging you so that you can have your free broadband as a Sky customer with the right TV package. I hope this helps.

be careful with the Sky kit as there are certain better setup rates that would want to creep in. also examine to work out if you're in a Sky Broadband section, if no longer you'll purely be able to get Sky Broadband connect it really is £17/month by itself. the line condo is purely a £a million of a huge difference between Sky and BT - £10 and £11 respectively. so that you ought to operate this on besides on perfect of what you're being presented. The Sky kit you're being presented is the needed style kit for viewing it really is purely purely better than what you would get on Freeview. as an get mutually: in case you pick to visual reveal unit the channels on the fashion channel, pick to visual reveal unit the films and get the activities Channels besides, have the weekend/evening calls and, if you're outwith the Sky Broadband section, Sky Broadband connect then upload the line condo - it supplies you as a lot as £seventy 2 in line with month! My advice is to get a Freeview field that makes it attainable for on-call for or perfect-up concepts, improve your broadband to BT entire Broadband (both option 2 or 3) and there is not any setup prices. purely my advice, you comprehend.

Easy enough, first you have to get what is known a mac number off BT to give to your new provider and then shift. You will not be able to move without that vital number.

i recently changed to sky broadband max from aol and let me tell you it is absolute nonsense. it didn't work for 2 months after the activation date. i kept on calling tech support and they kept on saying there was nothing wrong ?!#@ then finally they sent an engineer round to my house he couldn't fix it. they then sent another engineer who made it work but now all of the phones in my house don't work properly anymore. and the internet is slow despite me subscribing to the max 16mb package. i phoned tech support and asked them to tell me what speed i am recieveing and they said i was recieving 526kbps and my upload speed was 267kbps. initially i was told i would recieve at least 14mb of the 16mb but here i am recieveing only 0.5mb i used to get the full 2mb with aol. i would strongly advise you not to switch to sky and if you do swicth cancell it within the 14 days if it doesn't work correctly.
