yes, it not a big deal. What all u need it a cat file cable and an on board/external lan card.
Take the cable and connect to both the computers.
Then go to network settings creat a new home network.
Thats your drives to access from the other computers.

if you have the networking card installed in both the computer you can do so by using a cross cable and plugging it in both the networking card of the two computers

yes u can connect two computer directly by using ether net cross cable or use hub if u dont know how to make cross cable.

IN networking use crosscable to direct connect your pc using lancards which is on board or use external.if u don`t have any idea for this go to administrator nearest shop of pc and suggest him to make a cross cable.make your both pc in domain or in work group.and give ip address 192.168.0.1 and in seceond pc 192.168.0.2 and just give pc name pc1 and pc2.and work group any 1 u like.give subnet mask 255.255.255.0 to give ip address got to mynetwork plces right click on it and propeties,local area,right clik on it,go to porpeties,TCP/IP.and now if u want to use ur internet by shring go to internet explorer,right click,connection,lan setting,and select the autmetcly find the setting.if u stil get truoble email me redrose_flower22@yahoo.co.in
