A Router with 4 ports and your in, a HUB works also. The Squid Proxy with Linux is allways best. Ubuntu 6.10 Server or Ubuntu Edgy Eftt are great Linux Servers for the windows user.

Set up a Linux gateway, connect your broadband to this server, run a proxy such as squid on this server; and set up other computers to point to this as a proxy server (in browser settings) or as gateway and start browsing.
