I can no longer hear anything on the net/media player etc as the connection in the back of my computer has been broken. Basically the hole into which I plug the lead which is connected to my amp is knackered. If i wiggle the lead around whilst pushing it in hard (ok enough sniggering), I intermittently hear sound but I cannot afix it nor can I stand there keping it pushed in firmly. The moment I let it go all I get is a loud buzz! Any suggestions? is there an alternative way of hooking up my PC to my amp. Please help!

I would like to find images of people installing floors or anything having to do with carpet or flooring on the internet so that I may add it to a business card for my husband's business.

I want to buy a laptop and I have a desktop that is connected to broadband with and ethernet cord. I want to have the laptop use the same internet wirlessly. Is there anything I should look to buy when purchasing the laptop? I know I need a router, or do I? What is a network card? Do both computers have to have one in order for the wireless connection to work? I would really appreciate an answer put in the simplest of terms. I am very confused. Thank you

Ok. My computer has been messing up as of lately. Windows will not actually load. When I turn the computer on, it makes it all the way to the Windows loading screen with the progress bar at the bottom. From there, it just keeps rebooting and cycling like that. I tried to start in safe mode and that didnt work either. I booted from the Windows XP CD, and when I choose the repair option, it works for a little while, and then it kicks me to a dos prompt ( C:\Windows ). I can only access the windows directories and sub-directories. What am I supposed to do from here? When I type exit, Windows never actually loads, it just keeps cycling. Someone please help!

Im running a P4, 3.53GHz, 2GB RAM, Windows XP

like that. I am trying upgrade my video card. nvidia 7300 gt. It works fine on wow and other things. The problem is videos, such as yahoo video. It locks up and wont play them. Any thoughs? Oh, yes I have the most current drivers for the card. I loaded and reloaded them twice.

I have lotus notes on my computer and I just recently got Microsoft Outlook but when I try to send a web page by email it opens my Lotus notes but still wont let me email it from there. I already done the Tools > Internet Options > Programs thing and everything is set up to Outlook but it still doesnt work!!!

whenever I click on delete temp file, I get an error. The only way I've able to clean any is to click on tools,internet options,then click on settings. Then I have to delete each, one by one which I can't do them all it would take forever.

I need help finding a good software to download (free if possible) that can copy/burn ISO image files, avi, mpeg, divx evt files to a DVD.

I have had a copy of nero essentials but it doesnt seem to read alot of files.

I'm looking for a simple all in one tool that can do as much as possible for as cheap and strees free as possible.

If anyone has any advise or any other info they may feel relevent please post!

I'm trying to let a user specify a comma-separated list of urls to my php function, but commas are a valid url character. How do I delimit the different chunks of urls? Are there any characters that are invalid that I could use instead like > or {?

The key is the character (or set of characters) must be something that you'd never see in an actual url.
