Ok. My computer has been messing up as of lately. Windows will not actually load. When I turn the computer on, it makes it all the way to the Windows loading screen with the progress bar at the bottom. From there, it just keeps rebooting and cycling like that. I tried to start in safe mode and that didnt work either. I booted from the Windows XP CD, and when I choose the repair option, it works for a little while, and then it kicks me to a dos prompt ( C:\Windows ). I can only access the windows directories and sub-directories. What am I supposed to do from here? When I type exit, Windows never actually loads, it just keeps cycling. Someone please help!

Im running a P4, 3.53GHz, 2GB RAM, Windows XP

and what about your video card?? Mostly when that happens it has something to do with the video card -- Try going to the BIOS then check if the hardware specs that you've mentioned above is the same with the configurations there.. if not change it
