Someone installed me another Windows XP because my computer wasn't working OK but didn't delete the old Windows, and now, when I open the computer I have to select the version I want to use. I want to delete the old one and keep the new one. When I go in :C , I find the folders Windows.0 and Windows. Wich one I have to delete? And how I have to do it? I delete it like a normal folder, or I have to do something else? Please explain like for a beginner. Thanks.

Someone (diyphoto.org) has copied a lot of articles I have written from my website (photocritic.org) They've re-posted them on their own site without permission, and are now making money off them using Google AdSense. I've contacted them, but they're not responding.

What can I do to have the articles removed?

I am trying to connect to the internet, but my router's ID is not showing up on the available network's list. I can connect to the internet, obviously, if I plug the network cable into my computer directly, but am unable to if I plug it into the network. Is it possible my network ID has been hidden somehow? Please help - very frustrated! Cheers, thanks.

I'm converting my old machine into a HTPC. It's an AMD 3000+ machine with 1gb of memory, and I'm looking to add a video card that will support high def viewing on my plasma. Currently, when connected with a vga cable, high def videos I download stutter and freeze.

I'm looking for a video card that will have an HDMI output and will support flawless HD viewing, so that HD videos that I download and record using my OTA HD tuner card will look great. In the future (1-2 years), I plan on purchasing an HD-DVD/Bluray drive and put that in the machine, so hopefully the card will support that as well.

Any ideas or thoughts? PCI Express interface, and hopefully passive cooling. Price isn't a problem.

1. im using an ODBC (Data connector)......to connect my DB(MS access 2000) with VB6.0

2. im having a string variable "tab" to assign a table name value(im having many tables..and by using an if loop im assigning any of the tables to this variable tab")

3. now this code shows error to open a recordset....
(i.e. i want to connect all the fields(*) from that string variable-"tab" which contains the table name"

the code is :

Set rs = db.OpenRecordset("select * from "& tab&" ")....

This is the way i hope. but it dosen't works....says that there is some syntax error.......

I bought a Dane-Elec USB Flash drive my computer would accept or something and it said this:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.
So I went out and exchanged it and it does the same thing.
So I go out and buy another different brand USB Flash driver which is a Lexar. It still says:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

I go to there web sites and try to install their drivers but it won't let me because I have Windows XP and it says that my computer doesn't need it.
Does anyone have ANY ideas of how to fix this ******* ****?
It is really pissing me off!

When i try to format the hard disk it wont work. When i try to install windows xp it says i need to format it. When i do halfway though the format it says the hard disk may be damaged. Does anyone know what i could possibly do without spending large amounts of money or is the hard disk just stuffed?

Whenever I scroll using IE or firefox my pages are lagging. Also, when I move a window (such as a file window), the window lags as well. It seems that my whole computer is lagging and it makes surfing the internet frustraiting. What is the problem?

I'm using windows XP pro and I *just* installed it. This is the first time that this has happened. Please help.

My young daughter got ahold of my mac powerbook and has does something to the color of my display. Everything is coming up in black and white and pictures are showing in negative. I cannot figure out what display setting she has messed with or if she has just broken the screen.

Does anyone know where to go to change my diplay back to normal? Thx in advance.
