I have an Intel Desktop Board DP965LT motherboard and I want to know if an NVidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB (PCI Express x 16) , from Albatron , will work properly.

P965 chipset supports PCIe. Your motherboard has x16 PCIe slot. 8600GT should work there. Be sure you get one w/ ddr3. 512mb ddr2 videoram is slow. Consider the factory overclocked versions of 8600GT.

Go to www.intel.com then click on support. Type in your Model number for your new graphics card (you might have to navigate the site) and see if your model of motherboard supports this card.
