This was happening to me every time I went on the net, I'd maybe get 3 minutes max before to computer restarted itself. I eventually sent the error message that I was continiously presented with to Mircosoft and had an immediated reply. Apparently my modem driver needed updating, I went to the appropriate site for my brand of modem, downloaded an update and things have been ok since. Hope that helps.

computer hangs can be for various reasons for example 1.registry errors 2.viruses 3.hard drive problems
theres also many ways to fix this problem, the most obvious is to re-install windows but this may be a bit harsh
the restarting of your p.c can be stopped by right clicking my computer>advanced>start up and recovery>uncheck the box "automatically restart" then click apply and ok
this will stop the restarts, however it wont stop the problem
run a anti-virus scan and also a anti-spyware scan, this may be the cause of the problem more so a virus, and also try using a regsitry fixing program

Do a manual restart in safe mode and do a FULL virus scan. It sounds very dodgy to me unless you had been updating something, in which case, a restart may have been necessary to complete the update.

The operating system could be corrupted, or your power supply unit is on it's way out. Try re-installing the operating system
