Just normal for your camera... but that doesn't help much.

Let's work out the Math.

Let's say that you look at just one photo, and it says 1.5MB in size. Just take that 1000 MB stick and divide by that 1.5. That's 666 pictures.

So here's example two. Let's say that your photo is 2.2 MB in size. Again, let's divide and you get 455 pictures.

FINAL EXAM:
Let's say that you found that a typical picture is 4.8 MB in size. How many pictures of this size can fit on your 1GB stick?

It's a math thing. But now you know, and it was fun teaching you.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

On my 6megapixel camera, when I put in a 1GB memory it tells me I have room for 243 pictures. It is assuming average good quality ones just like you are. That is the camera's arithmetic, not my calculation.

If I went down in quality I could probably fit a thousand on there. I never tried to test what it would say if I went down in quality because the pictures might not be worth seeing.

The 32G stick will purely take place as a one million-2G stick in case you utilize a reader that doesn't study the HC (intense-ability) formats. in addition gadgets that say they might use media sticks/card, many times specify in a handbook or imprinted on the casing in the event that they might study the HC version of that media. as an occasion: SD media = one million-2G / SDHC media = 4 - 64G. The playing cards are comparable in actual dimensions yet while its over 4G, and your gadget is purely analyzing as much less, then probability is your reader can no longer study HC formats. >>edit to contain extra techniques replace<< The casing must be the comparable on the outdoors, yet whats on the interior is what might variety. no longer purely can a 1G card/stick be the comparable fee because of the fact the HC one, the study/write/get admission to specs might variety notably too. the final public sees a miles less costly HC card and jumps at it thinking its a large purchase, however the indoors specs* could be soo poor the 1G version with lots greater specs could be a thank you to pass. *media playing cards/stick persist with a variety score to be certain how rapidly techniques might nicely be accessed/study/wrote to that card. If a card/stick does not record the class score, its assured its below a variety 4 score. type 4 = 4M / sec write velocity type 6 = 6M / sec write velocity etc... Cheapy playing cards fall into the class one million-4 catagory, on a similar time as greater advantageous playing cards that publicize as quickly playing cards, must be minimum type 6 and can pass upwards in direction of type 133.

A "normal" JPEG is around 1mb, so around 900 pictures (the size reduces after the card/disk is formatted).

Size certainly does matter trust me i know. I'd say if they were 640 x 480 pics, about 2000. If they were your avg 3megapixel camera, lets say about 700. Only guessing here.
