Everytime I want to put the pound sign in (as pounds sterling) all I get is #. I have a Dell Dimension 5150 using XP home.

I was just trying to figure out if there was a way to remote into my desktop pc from work. (My home is about 20 miles away from my job). I can remote into my home pc using my laptop fine (using Remote Desktop Connection and typing in my computer name/ip address), but I just want to know if it's possible to do it from such a long distance, and if so, how? hey i use word for my homework so i click onto it and it comes up and the product id sign i suppose to come up really really quickly with the name e.t.c but it dont it frezzes with that still on the screen and if i click it again it goes leaveing a white screen i have tryied uninstalling it and everything do you know whta the problem could be thanks very much

Have 5 pcs in the office all with MSHOME workgroup name but no one is able to use one of the Pc's it just comes up

I have checked and double check, the firewall is off, there is no anti virus software.

i've downloaded music videos from different sites and i put them in my wmp10 library. how do i put them on a disk so i can play them in my samsung dvd player?is there something special i should do or can i just burn them to the disk like i do the music? thanks for all answers.

I have tried several home jobs through the internet and all of them either turned out to be a SCAM, or it paid a very little amount of money. I have wasted time and money on these scams, and I just wanted to know if there is ANY LEGITIMATE home jobs out there where you can actually make some real MONEY?? About 2 months ago my husband got written up because F&^% was in an email, well he got another email from someone else today and it had SH*T in it. Question is, does the email security get the email right away once it was opened? I have an HP Omnibook 6100 with Windows 2000 on it which needs a reboot disc (due to virus damage), new LCD display bulb and probably upgrades to the memory and speed. I bought it for $350 from a friend about a year ago and only got about 2 months solid use out of it before it quit on me. Should I pay for the list of things above or just go ahead and buy a new one?
