60 GB will do if you want to keep just music, a few movies (10-12) and games. For more games and movies (20-40), get 90 GB or 120 GB accordingly. It all depends on you.

Go some math. Divide the price of the 60 gig drive by 60, and the price of the 120 gig drive by 120. Usually the larger drive will be (much) cheaper "per gig". So it is usually smart to buy the larger one now then a year from now have to spend more to get a bigger one.

That would depends on what the computer can handle, anything internal has a limit of what it can handle.
Now if you're known to have over hundred of pictures, music and videos on your computer, you may want to go with the 90 or the 120, but if you don't save a lot to the computer go with the 60.

Make sure it's 7200 RPM - even if you have a ton of space, laptop hard drives are usually slower and take a while to pull data from. If you can find a 7200 RPM 90 gig drive in your price range, go for it!
