i have a router connecting two PCs next to each other. I have 3 hard drives
on one and 1 hard drive on the other.

When on the computer with one hard drive, What must I do to SEE the 3 hard drives
on the "other" computer?

I can see FILES but only on one hard drive.

or.......will a router only permit me to see
the C drive on the "other" computer?

Hi,

I have looked everywhere and found nothing.. so I am asking here.

I have a Sony Vaio VGC-LS20E and I am trying to connect it to my new Plasma TV. The plasma has a VGA input spot as well as spot for svideo and HDMI inputs.

HOWEVER.. my Computer has NO 15 prong VGA slot, has NO dvi slot, and the S-Video just didnt work...

My Plasma has a "PC In" area where you plug a VGA from the tv to the PC but like i said, my PC does not have a vga slot.

How do i do this, I'm going NUTS!!! Is there any type of special cord I can use for the VGA from my TV to a USB on my computer or something?

PLZ Help! Thank you...

Additional Details

My Computer is an ALL-IN-ONE so the monitor IS the computer.

My Computer is not even a year old. It has a slot for the red/yellow/white cables and an s-video on the back of it but when i connect them to the plasma it does nothing.

i was lookign at pdf file that u can view online, u know like when u view manuals to things online and it opens a new page and it looks like ur viewing it on adobe acrobat reader. well i iwas viewign i file yesterday, i really need it now but i dont know how i got to it. any help? THNKS

I haven't used Outlook in 2 years and it has a bunch of junk I want to get rid of. I'd like to just delete the database and start over - eliminating all my old contacts, e-mails, calendar appointments, etc. Everything is outdated. Also, I can't just uninstall and reinstall because I lost my installation CD.

I'm going to college and I wanna buy a laptop. It doesn't matter what I'm going to major. OK, it is matter. Chemistry or Industrial Design. I've decide between MacBook or MacBook Pro, and I duh know which should I choose. I may use it for assignments, web browsing or watcjing video, etc. And I really don't like low speed. Unable to add new contacts to linkedin account.
In my personal profile I try to add new individuals to my list of contacts. Friends are inviting me to their network but when I select, accept and enter in my email address and password for confirmation these new contacts are not added to my list. I have just started and do not have a large contact list.

Linkedin support has not been able to provide an answer.

i am using speed fan and its showing under temperature two cores, core 0 and core 1 at around 180 Farenheit. is that too hot for my laptop? what should my temperature be around? and would a laptop cooler bring the temperature down to the temperature it should be at?

and when i say Manualy that means opening it up . should i remove the CPU battery for a while then try it? I cant access the computer cause there is a password request as soon as the laptop is activated. Recently i installed Adobe design premium cs3 but somehow the program files got deleted but still leaving it installed and i cant use it so i tried uninstalling it but everytime a popup says 'Adobe setup has stopped working...blah' and i tried reinstalling it but then all i get is a message saying something like its already installed so is there any other way of getting rid of it or forcing a reinstall?

My motherboard has only two DIMM slots for DDR-RAM I have a 512 in the first one, and "had" a 256 in the 2nd. One day I decided to clean my VERY dusty insides. I removed both modules cleaned them VERY carefully and put'em back.
Then my Bios wouldn't register my memory. Long story short both modules work fine in the first slot, neither work in the second. So my question is can I replace then slot,? Or can someone guide me to a site that I can get some more info on this?

My account on ebay was suspended because i moved and i did not update my address info, (reported by another ebay member). I went to another computer and tried to register again with a different email address but that account was also suspended. the second computer is an older computer (win98) but does have access to a phone plug. The newer computer (winXP) has DSL upstairs. How can my uncle get high speed on his win98 computer.

I don't think he wants a wire coming down from the upstairs computer and he probably doesn't want his win98 computer to connect wireless through a wireless router. What are his options? thanks so much.

Hi,
I am tired of getting automated spam and junk emails
I have noticed that often when I send an email to a company, they require me to enter some wierd character string so automatic spammers cant send them junk.
Is there a way that I can require anyone sending me an email to my yahoo address to have to do this entering a character string first?
I would love to have that feature, but not if it would cost more money. Is there a free way to have this feature if your answer is to upgrade to some expensive email acccount that wont help me i need to be able to require people sending me email to my Yahoo email address to first be required to enter some crazily written funky character string first that only human eyeballs can read.....you know what I am talking about....we all have to enter them before we can send an email to many "contact us' links on companies' websites to make sure we arent spamminng them and we are human with a legitimate email.How can I get this for myself? thanx

My parent's always wants me to send them pics, programs, etc.
I hate attaching them to e-mails etc....it tends to be cumbersome.
Is FTP the best approach to just dump stuff to his PC? If so, how do I do that "safely".
Or is there a better alternative than FTP or e-mail attachment?
