How do I know if I have DSL, Dial-up, or T1? I have a laptop and I have highspeed internet. I don't have to be plugged into anything to use internet. I don't have a phone line so I don't think I have dial-up...

You probably don't have T1, other wise you would experience speeds of more than 800 kbs. No one uses dial-up anymore. (actually they do, US is ranked 30th in number of broadband connections because people haven't made the switch from dialup to broadband) DSL would be my best guess. DSL is the best anyway, T1 costs a fortune to run.

If you're at home it's definitely either DSL or cable. At your office there might be a T1, but those are mucho expensive. If there's no phone line at all I expect you've got cable Internet... Which company bills you for the high-speed Internet service?

You have wireless internet connection, but you need to have a WAP(wireless access point) somewhere nearby, if you dont have a phone line it cant be DSL or dial up, it might be cable or satelite connection.
DSL uses a phone line too, it cant be DSL

OK, i checked the website, definitely not DSL cuz it says "Surf Faster - Speeds faster than dialup and DSL."

Cable. I used to have DSL, but it gave me problems all the time. I have had cable for 2 years now, and I have never had any problems.
