My account on ebay was suspended because i moved and i did not update my address info, (reported by another ebay member). I went to another computer and tried to register again with a different email address but that account was also suspended. (1) How does Ebay know where you are registering from/that you are the same person ? (2) How can you get around this ? Thanks

u can't get around this, if you were suspended once you cant get back on

You were not suspended because you moved and did not update your address info. You were suspended for breaking eBay's rules possibly for having more than one account. Sounds as if you were caught and reported by this member for bidding on your own auctions.

all ebay do theses days is suspend people and don't listen to us so i moved to www.jtbids.com its a new site but if you have a problem they sort it out like the way it should be

Register with a new email addy. If that doesn't work than write them a letter with some documentation. This doesn't sound very reasonable.

ebay is evil really, they do what they call watermark everything. It is like they have a huge file with your name on it and every time you upload a pic or list or buy or do ANYTHING, it goes into your name file no matter where you sign on or anything. I know for real. Be very careful when you do sign on that if you try to use a new email addy, they will always direct you back to your suspended account. Watch your sign in info very carefully, as they will always try to trick you into going back to your bad acct. I know !!!! They are very evil.
