i have a laptop and a desktop. both the computers never move their place and are always there. i have a linksys router WRT54G that gives both of my computer internet connections.(both wired), so how do i make a shared connection between the computers? for example. i have a file that is 2gb and it is on the laptop and when i am on the desktop, i can use that 2gb file.or a way i can get to my files from one computer to an another

follow the manual guide. it should be very easy to set up a network on winXP.
if both PC can detect each other. share their drive. example, right click on C drive and click on Share and Security.

Hi. You need to make a network. Th network wizard (in control panel) will help you.

yes their is a spechial cord you can plug in to the both of them it works i done it myself

just do something easyer like connect both computers t the same connection...
