Hi,

I have looked everywhere and found nothing.. so I am asking here.

I have a Sony Vaio VGC-LS20E and I am trying to connect it to my new Plasma TV. The plasma has a VGA input spot as well as spot for svideo and HDMI inputs.

HOWEVER.. my Computer has NO 15 prong VGA slot, has NO dvi slot, and the S-Video just didnt work...

My Plasma has a "PC In" area where you plug a VGA from the tv to the PC but like i said, my PC does not have a vga slot.

How do i do this, I'm going NUTS!!! Is there any type of special cord I can use for the VGA from my TV to a USB on my computer or something?

PLZ Help! Thank you...

Additional Details

My Computer is an ALL-IN-ONE so the monitor IS the computer.

My Computer is not even a year old. It has a slot for the red/yellow/white cables and an s-video on the back of it but when i connect them to the plasma it does nothing.

Unfortunately, it looks like Sony decided not to provide any method of getting video out of your computer easily. So, because of this, it easily can't be hooked up to an external display device (like your Plasma panel). The S-Video port, according to the manual for your computer model, is an input port and not an output port.

This leaves you with this option (that I have been able to find):

* Assuming your Vaio supports USB 2.0, buy a USB Video Card: http://www.usbgear.com/USB-Video-Card.html

"Features : ...can be as Primary, Extended, or Mirror of Primary screen on system..."

This USB video card set to 'Mirror of Primary' will give you a VGA output that you can hook up to your Plasma. This should mirror what you are seeing on the output of your Vaio.

Good luck.

You have not stated the make and model of your computer.

I actually took it for the Plasma screen, sorry.

If it is a Lpttop/Notebook pandera p may be a good solution.

I would suggest you go to the manufacturer's website and do a search on connecting to a Television. You may have to download some drivers and/or go through a setup procedure.

It is a Sony. Try this link, it is - All Results for "can a Sony Vaio VGC-LS20E connect to a plasma tv".

Sorry for the Oversight.

Good Luck

It sounds like you're out of luck for a direct connection. The S-Video is listed as an input on its specs, not an output so the other cables are probably the same. You could try a docking station like this one:
http://www.belkin.com/highspeeddock/

It connects to your ExpressCard slot and has DVI/VGA out.
