i have a usb device and i got rid of everything on it but when i go into properties it says that half the room is taken up. but there is nothing on there!!!! can anyone tell me what it i and how to get rid of it? thanks

I created an account on blogger.com as well as my own blog now obviously.

I am trying to use this blog with Google Adsense to make cash. What is the next step I am supposed to take? Do I need a domain. I am willing to put my hands in my pockets, so just tell me exactly what to do now!

Hi all, i am currently doing a java swing application on convenience store payment system which i need to retrieve the product(product desc,qty,unitprice)from the database and display it on the screen when i scanned the product when the customer make payment.But i had no idea whether to use JList or JTable or anything else to show it(product desc,qty,unitPrice)on the screen.Can anyone help me,thanks in advance?

Is there any way to check a website (or even a link) for potential danger BEFORE you click and find out the hard way? How can I know if a site is "bad" other than word of mouth? It seems like every time I run Ad-Aware to scan for malware, dad-gum-it, there's always those pesky "negligible objects" - I know they're not horrible, they're "just" cookie trackers - but, if there wasn't something to them, why does Ad-Aware (& other antispyware programs) find them & call them to our attention? No matter what I do, I obviously can't avoid the ad companies who insist on letting greed and spyware creeps use us all! Am I wrong? If so, then, help me! In addition to Ad-Aware, I have AVG, Spyware Guard, & Windows firewall-any suggestions? BTW, last week I had the Win32 Trojan virus - from where? How did it get past me & all these seemingly useless protectors?

I don't know anything about computers but after doing a little research this is what I have learned...
I have a Sony Viao PCV-RX650 here are the specs

My current graphics card is NVIDIA TNT2 M64 32MB 4x AGP 3D
I only play the sims2 and due to my graphics card it runs a bit slow and I can't run any of the exp packs that require either a graphics card that is:
ATI Radeon 8500 or greater or...
NVIDIA GeForce 2 GTS or greater
So I need to upgrade to either of those options.
I know the Viao doesn't have the greatest power supply; but can someone suggest graphics card that would meet those needs. I would be sooo greatful. I was looking at this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2940959&CatId=880
would it work?

I want to start using Google Adsense. I need to make a site first obviously. What domain or host do you suggest using for making a site (that is fairely cheap, but trustworthy)?

It has to be a website such as "www.example.com", not "www.freewebs.com/example...

Does anyone know of a free online vb 6 guide for beginners? I took a course on vb 6 about 3 years ago and i forget everything (except what the interface looks like :) ). I'm not interested in learning any other program nor converting to vb net or 2005 or whatever is. I've got a copy of the program so all that's left is putting it to good use.

hi i have a greedy user on my home network and we have to keep unpluging his computer anything i can install on his machine to share my 2 mb conection half and half? or should tell him good luck with the credit checks on getting his own internet service

ps i have all ready tryed changing his application settings but he chages them back to hog the internet even when he sleeps his downloading speed is high and i cant find a good time of day to use the internet since he ALWAYS downloading something

by the way if he gets caught downloading and copying cd dvd ect because i pay for the internet connection is there any legal come back on me? or will it be him and only him answerable for his actions?
how can i prevent him from copying cds and disks on his computer other than watching like a hawk?

This anti virus program is killing me, I cant install anything or use old programs. My IT dept disabled this software once but I want to get back to this window they used and I cant find it!

Every time I click on Internet Explorer it takes me to http://asafecenter.com/ . I can not access anything from there. Norton found it and supposedly deleted it, but Internet Explorer is rendered useless. Firefox is unaffected. I restored the computer to a few days ago and that did not help. Besides formatting the computer how can I removed the virus?

OK im stupid when it comes to computers jus got it a month ago. Well its running real slow keeps freezin up wont shut down i called computer company they said they can erase everything and it will run like it did when i got it. I dont have much stored on here jus music and some pics so i dont care if i lose anything but does anyone know if this is a good thing to do or has anyone done this?
