I want to start using Google Adsense. I need to make a site first obviously. What domain or host do you suggest using for making a site (that is fairely cheap, but trustworthy)?

It has to be a website such as "www.example.com", not "www.freewebs.com/example...

Thanks

It really doesn't matter what domain name you have or who your site's hosted with. What does matter is what information your site contains. To make any money at all from Google Adsense you need thousands of visitors a week in the hope that some may click on the ads. From what I read in your question, it sounds like you are starting a site to make money through ad clicks. Forget it, and forget it fast. Your site name should reflect the material in your site. Would you seriously call yourself realestate.com if you're selling cars? To make Adsense work, you need a site that generates a massive amount of attention and traffic. For example, a music site promoting a fictitious but famous group "The Rainmen" make make a few Adsense dollars if Google displayed ads for their CD's, DVD's and concert tours. However, Google might also put up ads for umbrellas and raincoats and you will end up making nothing. It's a hard world out there to be sure.

Use Godaddy.com to buy your domain name but do not host it there.
I would recommend either one of the following hosting companies:
Hostgator, Bluehost or midPhase.
Have a read of my website below for more information.
