Not very good if you are into gaming. Your system is using embedded graphics. The chip is on the motherboard, and isn't only dedicated to graphics. The same chip controls other things, such as data flow and audio (depending on your motherboard) In your position, I would look into purchasing a video card. Do some research on your system, and figure out what kind of interface you would need for your video card. Next, go out, or on the internet, and purchase one that fits your system slots and is good for what you use your computer for. Good luck!

Most laptops have poor graphics cards, good enough for normal stuff, but not good for games. The integrated Intel cards are in this class.

Th bad news is most laptops can't be upgraded. Some can, but most cannot.

If you are into games, I think you'll be disappointed with anything other tan a game console, or a desktop pc with the proper hardware.

It's okay for regular tasks but if you play games you should get a better graphics card.

Your mother can use the following speed and type of memory: DDR-400, DDR-333, or DDR-266 The fastest of course is the DDR-400 , the slowest is the DDR-266 type. You can install a maximum of 2 GB on that board, so you will want to buy ultimately: 2 - 1 Gigabyte DIMMS of DDR-400 speed memory. Hopefully that helps out.
