Hi,
I do not have much experience in programming and would liek to know if for instance I install a Java SDK in ubuntu and then create and application, when it is compiled, is it usable for Windows too or do I have to specify the platform when I start writing the application project?

Thanks in advance.

plugged the 2nd HD in, it never started up again. No 'pop', no smoke, no nothing. The hardrive doesnt have any spots that look melted or burnt. I also put in a 650watt power supply. Is it possible I had too many add-ons for the motherboard to handle, or do you think it might be the switch in the front of the case that quit working?

I have an Epson R1800 photo ink jet printer.
Brilliant printer - when printing colour.

I set out to print 500 leaflets and 1/2 way through found i had to replace my Cyan ink, Blue and now it's begging me to replace my Red - why?

It's a black and white text leaflet, so why is it draining all my colour cartridges?

Is there a way to just print black, matt black at that and leave the other 7 cartridges alone?

OK, here's my story-one day, when I booted up the computer, it didn't recignize the hard drive. Many days later, I wiggled the cable, and got it function. Unfortunaltely, it can't boot windows because just as the computer is about to end the loading, it reboots.

first, my mom went and deleted some cookies,
and now i don't have a homepage on my internet explorer
(it was myspace) and now i can't edit&save my group on
myspace. i'm wondering if that has to do with what my
mom did because it keeps saying something about cookies:
#GetResourceText('#ResourceFile#','ErrorMessage','#CountryCookieData#'

Windows - out of virtual memory

X your system is low on virtual memory. To ensure that Windows runs properly, increase the size of your virtual memory paging file.

How do I do that? Thanks in advance!
