when i connect my modem to MTNL connection i get a Error 777: The connection attempt failed because the modem or other connecting device on the remote computer is out of order.
its a dialup connection modem to the telephone line
what should i do?

What this error is saying is that the modem at MTNL is not working, not yours. Do you have other MTNL dialup numbers you can try?

What is the Operating System that you are using? Are you using a router or a switch to connect these two PCs?
