I have 1 phone line in my house other then my DSL line, they are both dedicated lines coming from the interface where the phone enters the house. When I first got DSL the phone man put a DSL filter directly on the DSL line directly after the interface. But I still experience loss of my phone for days, yet my DSL still works. Anyone have any answers before I call the telephone company ?

U need to have a filer on EVERY SOCKET that is in use, NOT JUST the master.

if you have and still no phone service, contact your phone Co for an engineer to look into it

DSL line has nothing to do with the phone line. Even though they are pair of wire taken from the phone line set, they have nothing to do with the phone setup.

Your bills might be the problem. Else, your telephone guy, might have accidently shorted out or disconnected some wrong connection at the main telephone DB.
