Is it possible to surf the net on internet explorer without saving anything?

I think the best answer depends on what is the problem you're trying to solve. You can tell your browser not to accept cookies or to clear the cache and history on exit. These are settings within the browser. You can also clear cookies, cache, index.dat and files with free programs like CCleaner after the fact.

But if you're worried about someone knowing you visited a certain site, much of that information is out of your control. It resides in web logs on a number of servers from the specific site to your ISP. Granted, the info is most likely the IP address rather than your name. But if the site has you log in, they may be able to link back to you. Certainly, your ISP knows as they are the ones that assign the address to you unless you're using some sort of anonymizer service.

There are drawbacks to deleting all these files, particularly cached files. If you frequent a certain site and always delete your cache, your browser needs to download the file again. This makes your browsing experience slower.

You want to clear history and not have it save:
From IE
Tools
Internet Options
Delete Files (offline)
Delete Cookies
Delete History
set days to store pages in history to 0

You enter each startup with a clean slate.

restart your pc, bypass to IE and press and launch the alt button. bypass to approaches, internet techniques, more desirable and click the fix defaults button. on the backside of the communicate. look up your cookie settings and make it so that it doesn't save any.

I recommend just going to 'options' 'tools' and then 'delete history'

shouldn't be looking up such dirty sites though!
