I really enjoy photography but am very new to it and I am not very smart when it comes to computers. What is a good, easy program to work with. I was thinking about adobe photoshop elements 5.0. Does anyone know if that one is difficult to use? I want a program that can do a lot of different thing like making movies, editing etc. Any recomendations would be greatly apprecited.

I'm going to, like the title says, buy a good gaming computer for Christmas. But I don't know what is a good gaming computer. I want to play games like Medieval 2: Total War, so what are the ideal specs a computer should have to play it well? The system requirements only say what is needed, not what is ideal.

I don't want to have to buy Alienware computers, just something with better graphics that can play recent (or even last year's, because I like those games) games. My graphics card as it is now is ****.

My XP pro is still installed on the computer, do I click on install window XP ??

I am doing it for the first time. Kindly explain in detail, therefore a website link; giving step by step guidance would be highly appreciable.

Is there a website to rate your product that you'[ve bought, or to find out what others people have said about certain products?

I bought a 100$ Microsoft Habu mouse, and the thing stopped working after 2 months. People need to know about this so they don't get ripped off like I did.

I have a 3year old computer and a new laptop. comcast and a linksys 2.4GHz. my internet worked fine until i got this router.
it works now and it doesn't later and stuff, it's not stable.
Now, my wireless internet works but my computer doesn't.
I pluged the modem directly to computer and it works but when i plug it into the router and then router to computer, it doesn't work. i tried to reinstall linksys with my CD but it says it can't connect to the router. i tried reseting the router,cord,modem, but it still doesn't work. WHY????? plz help me!!!

I do have a socket for my ethernet cable but my computer says there is no driver where would i find the driver the socket has a little metal box connected at the back of it and this is on the motherboard which is a foxconn 945g7ma-8ks2 can any one help

I am working with a spreadsheet in which I have several formulas used at repeated intervals. For example, I insert a column after Columns A, B, and C and in that I insert subtotals for these columns. Is there a way I can make the result appear in other columns if I am doing the same thing as the previous columns? For example, if I am using Columns E, F, G, and I want to add subtotals in Column H, can I make this happen automatically?

What is your opinion over that??

For me here 's the pro:

Pros: 1) Computer's with low RAM, like say, only 256 MB or below, should use AVG. It hardly slows down pc startup unlike Norton or other commercial anti-viruses.

2) For those who have heard that Avast! is better, well maybe but I find Avast!'s full system scans to be terribly slow. It took me more than an hour to complete a full scan with Avast! On the other hand, AVG only took about 25 minutes and it doesn't use too much RAM during these scans too so I can do something else like web browsing without being slowed down.

3) There's no technical support for this free edition but at least there's a forum. Better than Norton which doesn't even have a forum, right?

4) Has about all the features you'll need in an anti-virus.

5) Super fast updating. Updates are frequent too.

6) Efficient automatic updating (I have Norton on another PC and it's slow to automatically update- if there's any).

7) Here's a nice one, AVG has a feature
