I'm in a dispute with a buyer on ebay's half.com.
One of the messages she sent me was directly from her e-mail to my e-mail. When it comes to ebay contact I only communicate to people through the ebay message system. That way my contact information can remain confidential. I never hit reply I always go to the website and click on contact buyer/seller. I have copies of all the messages I sent her, none of them have my e-mail address in them. The only other way I can think of is from the packaging slip that I sent with the package. That thing has my e-mail address on it.
I did a small experiment. I used the messages she sent me through ebay and hit the reply button. Her e-mail address was in the To: section although when it was sent it said amailer@half.com . Then I used one of the copies of the e-mails I sent her and clicked reply. It said amailer@half.com in the To: section. What's going on here?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop, and in the specs I keep coming across a "L2 cache". The standard on pentium processers at my price range is 1 or 2 MB, yet on AMD's it is 128 or 256KB exclusive. what does this mean for the performance of my laptop?

It already has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 integrated into the motherboard. I've read somewhere that this should therefore leave some slot (sorry, forgot the name of the slot) open, allowing you to install a separate dedicated card.

Also, would it be worth it to do so in order to be able to play semi-new games on it? Processor is an Intel Core Duo processor T2250 (1.73GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2MB L2 cache), ram - 1GB DDR2.

I remember only a few years back a PC would cost you £1000+ and now you can pick one up for £200 from the high street. Memory used to cost a lot too and now you can get it virtually free and there are things like 30Gb camcomrders that cost little more than a tape system. Why is it all getting so cheap?

Is there anyway to achieve the following with less complexity?

I have some HTML that i need to rebuild. The problem is the HtmlParser currently being used is incapable of handling nested tags with horizontal alignment set differently. So for instance, If i have a DIV align=center and within it a DIV align=right, the parser will basically treat the entire block as centered (the align=right was dropped).

I have Windows XP. I went to open word doc and in bottom right hand corner saw a msg. saying some file was corrupt and to run check disk. I did that. Question during check disk asked if I wanted to convert files - I said yes. People said that should be fine. I got message saying that file could not be fixed or truncated.

I went to reboot and now my screen saver is missing - its just a black screen. The task bar at bottom - the icons are blacked out. If I put my cursor over some of the icons I can see the description. Start up button, I cannot see nor can I see any options from the start up button. I can see all icons on my desktop. I open internet and I see the webpage, but the URL browser is blacked out. If i position cursor right I can change the URL address.

I was told to use the Windows XP Recovery Disk - any other thoughts? Will this work?

I m having a wireless router.It was working well.I dont know what happen it stops working. Now when i search for wireless from my HP laptop it say "No wireless Found" ..... The STATUS LIGHT IS ALWAYS BLINKING.IT KEEPS BLINKING UNIFORMLY. now i used my second laptop i.e mac even then it dint work....

Last 8 days ,it was working well.also i have lost the driver and software of the router. my router is D-Link 524.
