lol, no. If they were true, a million good things would have happened at 11pm. I would have a bunch of money and all the good luck one could ever have. Instead, I am still waiting to win the lottery, find true love, and wish that I owned my own home.

I think most are trash; I think spammers, like search engines, have "crawlers" that go out and search websites, looking for email addresses, so's they can generate junk email to those addresses. In fact, soon as I published websites for myself and a few clients (I'm a website developer) the spam increased dramatically. I've since learned to avoid publishing email addresses in websites. There are ways to, at least, encrypt email addresses in websites. Better yet, one can eliminate them altogether. (The old rule is, never publish an email address that you wouldn't want posted on a public billboard!)

The same would apply to street addresses! Once you order by street address...some jerk at the ordering company will copy and sell the list of ordering customers and junk mailers will buy the list and Capital One and then lots of others will start sending heck knows what kinds of trash to fill your mailbox...

I tell you what, if you believe in chain letters to be real, then you are a great candidate for me to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge. I owe it, you know? Believe in the power of your God and you won't have any doubts.

No, no and no.
Don't even bother reading them and they won't scare you.
Just delete.
Nothing will happen to you, I promise.
