I usually just install extra case fans, and use Arctic Silver 2 (or up) cooling compound with my CPUs, as this drops the CPU temp by 10C compared to the white silicon compound.

I propose air to your first holiday. a fabulous air device will do the job. Water cooling, dry ice cans, and refrigeration, are frequently extra for the overclocker. the only's that prefer to push the 'envelope', so a good distance as they are able to! With the main appropriate cpu, ram, and snap shots card, plus the main appropriate air cooling, you likely can overclock if prefer be. i do no longer propose overclocking, till you comprehend precisely what you're doing! CPU's and snap shots enjoying cards can capture on fire! (actually! AS IN BURN!)

Hi. I liquid cool but not with water. Take a look at 'PC Ice', a non-conductive fluid, or some other fluids. Leaks happen!

If your not an overclocker air cooling would be the best way to go.
I personally use only Danger Den water cooling setups.
It keeps my E6600 (@ 3.6 GHz) 28c idle, 36c with full load and my 8800GTX OC2 (@ 675/1065) 40c idle, 50c with full load.

Water will be quiet but if it springs a leak things will turn sour. I would use fans and just turn your speakers up to drown out the noise.
