This is what you do if Windows is already installed...
1. Bootup from CD, press any key to boot from CD when asked.
2. Click install Windows...it will ask you if you really want to...yes you do...so click that.
3. Then it will give you options on the file format...
NTFS quick format, NTFS full format, etc....choose NTFS quick...then it will format the harddrive and start the new installation of Windows...then just follow the prompts...Keep in mind, when it reboots to continue the installation, leave the cd in but don't press any keys...this will just make you start all over again on the installation. I might have miss a few points but you get the general idea.

When installing XP pro, if you select "install xp" it should prompt you to delete partitions and reformat.
You will want to let the software format your hard drive and re-install XP. it's basically a series of clicking on the NEXT button until it's done.
Easy as pie

Yes, choose Install XP, then you have the option later to wipe out old Windows and start fresh again.

If you select "Install XP" you will probably be prompted to "Repair" or "Replace" the operating system.

I believe the "repair" mode will just re-install XP while "Replace" may reformat your hard drive before re-installing XP.

If you suspect you have a virus, selecting "Replace" is probably your best option. Be sure to copy any critical files before starting.

Good luck.

WRONG

DO NOT use it while in windows

put the CD in your drive, reboot the PC and when the prompt "type any key to boot from CD" comes up, do just that...a blue DOS screen will come up and if you can read english and comprehend it, you'll be all set.
