Make sure that your volume is turned up or not on mute on your speaker icon, in the lower right corner of your screen. Make sure that your your speakers are plugged into the sound card or onboard sound
on the mother board. Do you have a head set plugged into another sound port on your computer, this will make the speakers not have sound. It could be a sound driver not loaded. If nothing else, go to
dell.com and click on support. They have a faq. online that can be looked at for hints and clues to issues.
