I like Linksys. I haven't had any trouble with it so far. The Netgear one gave a lot of problems.

Linksys is good; see also reviews at pcmag.com.

Beware of buying more than you need! It may be easy to be lured into slobber-causing fancy high tech.

A friend of mine who works at Cisco (Linksys-pards) suggested to buy a good one (not NECESSARILY, but likely, Linksys), but also likely: get the least expensive that will fit your needs.

When faced with the alternative of, Linksys WRT54GS and WRT54G (without Speed-booster) he advised me, at a savings of $20 to forgo Speed-booster since my locale won't benefit by speedboosting anyway...

And when I thought of getting a router that REQUIRED a $120 802.11n adapter card for the wireless PC versus one that used the 802.11a/b/g wireless technology already built into the PC you can guess what I did!

I'd go with the Linksys, they are always there with firmware updates and I've never had a problem that I (or my pets) didn't cause! :-)
I'd stay away from draft n for now.
