A good company is Carbonfrost Systems. I can speak from experience when I say they have the best warranty and service. They will literally build it to whatever you want while keeping the price low.

Try their Reflect Series computers, it was made for media savy people like yourself. Best of all its a lot cheaper than many other companies while they also use the best parts.

They will send you an invoice detailing all the exact parts that they used. Try building that yourself on newegg and it will come out to be more expensive. They also have alot of models so you can decide whatever you want and then call in for fine tuning.

A lot of their computers are overclocked while still under warranty. They use the best parts. [Corsair, ASUS, Antec, Thermaltake]

Carbonfrost still sells XP as a choice on thier new computers and will even give you a price break. I am not in sales so I don;t know what kind of breaks it is but they do give certain price breaks for XP. So you should be able to get media center with them.

Good luck in your search but trust me when I say they are one of the best out there.

Anything will do really, aim for something like Dual core with 2GB of memory, Windows XP, 250GB+ hard drives, a decent sound card, Audigy or Turtle, some decent speakers and you just need the right software and off you go.

I custom build computers, and i can offer you the best systems for the money.

I can build it to what ever you want.

Just message me if you find the offer interesting, and if you do, then let me know your budget and if you prefer a micro atx computer (meaning as small as it can go).

Thanks
