Okay, here's my problem... i have a paper due tomorrow. i've worked 3 days on it and i nearly finished. Then i decide to save it. THen i thought i "saved as" on the wrong file. Instead of saving it "proposal" i saved it as "invitation" . So then i saved it again with the file name "proposal". But it didn't save. Thinking that i saved it at "proposal", i opened the "invitation" and removed all the text. i saved it so now it's a blank document (it's not deleted, it's just a blank document). Then i opened proposal and ofund out that i didn't save it. So now all my 3 days work is gone.

does anyone know how to undo something after saving and closing the file??? i really need help.

that CD That has some bits burned on it. I have tried to reburn the same music and it said place a blank cd in the tray. So did I just waste a disc?

I tried degragging and it said I didn't have enough disc space to do a good job and that I should remove some files. What files are they referring to? I always delete my temporary files but it didn't make enough of a difference. Should I get rid of a bunch of programs that I hardly or don't use and will that help? Is clicking 'delete' enough or do I have to go somewhere else to truly get rid of them?

4months ago i moved house and tried to transfer my Tiscali broadband servie 2 my new address. I used their online service to do this and was given a confirmation e-mail that this was sucessfull and it would take 10-12 days to change.3 weeks later i still had no broadband , so i did it again,sucessful again it said.
4 MONTHS later still no broadband .So to cut a long story short i cannot get broadband after phoning, sending letters,£45 spent in broadband bills that i have not used and still no broadband.
I WANT TO NOW CANCEL, BUT I CANT!!.Nobody will answer the phone no matter the length of time, no-one will reply to any letters i send what can i do. Their customer service is pap!.
I have cancelled my direct debit hoping that they will close my account and sure enough they contated me for the money i owe them ( for what?). But they wont answer my letters i send them or answer the bloody phone.If you phone them mondays & Tuesdays they tell u 2 phone later in week !! duh!!! HELP!!!

Hi, i'am about to build a computer. I just cannot decide between the dual and single core. I don't think i would ever use both cores. These are the two i'am debating between.

I would be using this as a gaming computer. I also plan to set up a raid 0 or 5. I am kind of on a tight budget. Would a dual core run faster even if i am using just 1. They both have the same cache, and the single has more GHZ. And by the way i would not overclock.
