Spybot and Adaware are 2 very reliable anti spyware products that are free.

AVG is the best, but, you should also run SpybotS&D, Adaware by Lavasoft, shootthemessenger, or, just switch to Linux, because, Microsoft has, on 45,000 computers that run MSN.com, Hotmail.com (since their purchase in 1997!), and Microsoft.com,
Plus, 400 more run Linux in the Redmond Campus Labs, plus, all the firewalls, and routers, are Linux... Kind of a trend, ya know... No virus, no Trojans, no malware, 50X FASTER, each Linux syustem replaces upto 12 Microsfot servers or computers!!!

download.com is where we do alot of our downloads. There are alot of free programs but the best I have found for antivirus is avg. and the best anti spyware is called spybot. My husband is a computer tech and these are what programs he uses on his customers. Go to download.com search for those two programs. and avg has a free version. and im pretty sure spybot does as well.

Activate the resident shield of any of these and check for updates daily. Also scan ur PC every 3-4 days.
Spyware Terminator has an embedded antivirus(ClamAV);DON'T activate it if you already hav one.
