My computer is connected to a wireless router which is connected to the DSL modem. The DSL modem is connected to the phone line.

How to make a phone call using the phone line which the DSL modem is connected to? A software maybe?

I just got my throw away camera pictures developed from my birthday. However, it has 30 pictures, and I only got 19 back, most likely bc they were too dark, and about 8 of the 19 are too dark to see anything... We obviously forgot to use the flash thinking we didnt need it when we did.... but is there any way to take our negatives and brighten up these pictures? Will stores that do the photo developing do this? Or is there a computer program I can do this with?

I'm wondering if there's any "simple" way to copy a DVD to the harddrive, and run it "simply". Basically I'm asking if there'a way to copy the whole DVD, and just be able to click on "one" file, it runs the "DVD", all the menus work, etc. I try copying it now, and I get several files (obviously for all the chapters, menus, etc) Any suggestions? Or will I just have to live with one folder with several files attached to that "one" DVD?

I need to format my harddrive (sigh) and I was thinking the best way to save my music would be to put it all onto my ipod and then transfer them back. Is that possible?

Also...can't I also save files on my iPod?

There are times when my Emachines monitor wont come on, or if it does It will fade to black. The only way that I can get it back on is to hit the monitor hard, somtimes a couple of times. Do you know why it does this or how I can fix it?

How do I permanently disable a service in System Configuration Utility?

I isolated a service that is causing a problem by temporarily disabling it. But there doesn't seem to be an option to permanently disable or uninstall it.

Basically what happens is i play the DVD and it comes up but with no picture or sound - but you can see the green bar saying its playing moving - i tried a couple of codecs but no success - could someone help me out by giving me some direct links or something please?
