i dont think that any better af a video card would help

Because of the constant changes that are being made by the industry, we find ourselves constantly adding more and more video memory to our systems. In most cases, those freezing up or slowing down situations can be solved by simply adding more video memory. It's of course possible that your memory has gone "dirty" which memory does occasionally, and would need to be replaced. Larry (RadioShack 01-9590)

ok but what speed is your processor? is it an agp or pci card ? try adjusting the antialiasing to application controled along with all other advanced gfx card settins

download the latest NFS path (1.3) from www.gamespot.com.. I have your same specs and the patch solved the problem
