The seatbelts in my car won't wind back up. My foot caught in the driver's side seatbelt and I injured my arm. I wonder if there is a history of problems. Thanks.

Im still Baffled by employees who work with this system are stealing peoples belongings right out of their baggage..It happened to me and Im still quite angry with the way they handled the situation.. They totally ignored my complaint thinking it might go away.. There was just a report on the subject and an investigation was going on. You hear of it once in while, but now its becoming more evident..Dateline had a report on the subject one night last month..I want the public to be aware of the risk they are taking when they fly and having things stolen out of their baggage..Its happening every day and nothing is being done..I would like to see employess who handle baggage go through a metal detector at the end of their shift, just like the rest of us do as we enter an aircraft. I believe through making them go through this kinda of dectection would nip this problem in the bud..What do you think?

i was wondering how lucky i actually am..... i had a tyre blowout on the motorway at seventy mph... me plus 2 passengers and my dog escaped without a single scratch. evan though we hit the central reservation 3-4 times. and spun 360' at least twice. ended up facing the wrong way in the fast lane, in a car full of smoke. people keep telling me how lucky i am to be alive. am i? or do many people survive similar situations?

From one point to another point is probably 2 or 3 miles the most in distance. my question is when should i use cruise control? Cruise control is mostly for really far distances or i can use anytime?? just trying to safe a little more gas and money. thanks

Obviously, bicycling is good for practical uses, not having to spend gas money, not having to find parking and pay for it, and it's relatively convenient.

I was wondering whether or not it would be safe to use my bicycle on roads that are around 45-50 miles per hour and not residential roads. I don't think there are sidewalks or bike paths, so I guess I would have to go with the cars.

So, my question is how safe is it if I don't block cars or change lanes without signalling?

I notice that some people back into parking spaces in parking lots. Is there any advantage to this? From what I can tell it take over 3 times longer to park and it's not any easier to pull out of the spot and actually looks to be more confined because the drive needs to pull out more before they can turn.

I'm not positive but I think it's illegal to install an infant car seat in the front seat. So if the vehicle doesn't have a back seat, is it illegal to use it? If it makes a difference I live in Minnesota, the truck is a 98 Silverado, no airbags that I know of. Anyone know?

If I am going the speed limit and not doing anything wrong, can an officer pull me over if he runs my plates? Second question: can an officer run my plates for the hell of it or does he need a legal reason?

drive home from college, which is 3 hours away. I am always scared out of my mind when I see a cop and think I'm going to do something stupid. I've gotten pulled over for practically nothing, when I've heard my friends getting off for worse things. At the moment, I do not have my license. It is suspended.

I just got my learner's permit. I'm 18 and a woman now so I was able to sign for myself. My boyfriend hasn't reached adulthood yet he's 17 1/2 so his mom signed for him too. You can drive at 16. Anyway we were going to pick up my little brother from his soft ball. My dad asked us if one of us wanted to drive. I said I let Jamie try. Anyway Jamie did it and lurched the car somewhat but we got to the place and picked up my bratty 13 yr old brother. Than my dad said I should try and the little brat got me real nervous and said he was walking home if I was driving. Anyway he stayed and I started to drive. Something happened and the car lurched forward when I pulled the shift lever forward and pressed on the gas pedal and the car started to go at a high rate of speed than it was going downhill and the light at the intersection was red and he was yelling at me to stop the car in a loud voice than I pushed the lever all the way back and it stopped real suddenly and people were honki

I've noticed that some people lean way to the right when they drive, like they're resting on an armrest. Sometimes, they even look like they're lying down while driving. Why do they DO this? Is it supposed to look cool? Is it comfortable? It looks REALLY stupid and seems dangerous, like they couldn't respond quickly enough if something happened right in front of them. They're almost always young drivers, too. Whenever I see them in my rearview mirror, I get the hell away from them. WHAT IS THE DEAL??

i keep getting blocked in when i park my car on the street infront of my house, people from across the street have friends over all of the time and they choose to park in front of my house, witch i don't really mind. but, they park in front of and behind me litterally blocking me in, i mean i have only 1 maybe 2 inches in front and in behind. there are no yellow markers.... what can i do? can i have one of these guys towed? i gotta work in the morning and the drunks across the street passed out and it takes about 45 min to wake them up knocking on the door and finaly move one of their cars. i have been late for work 3 times because of this. i have to get up even earlier now just to see if im blocked in again. question is, are they are doing anything illeagal?, can i have them towed?, what can i do?
