We currently have some but nobody seems to remember where they were ordered from. It looks more like a frame for a cone than the usual full rubber or plastic cone/pylon.

I have a 98 Chevy 1/2 ton Silverado equiped with a CSFI that is misfireing. A friend said that he found a recall on them in CA. Is it just because of CA's Clean Air Act or is is a safety recall and if it is a safety recall, what steps to I need to take to get it fixed?

Under no circumstances am I having a go or moaning in anyway about police officers!

I require some background information on the public perception of police driving practices and standards.

The sorts of answers I require are as follows:

As a member of the public:

Do you know what it takes to become a police driver?

Do you know what skills are required?

Do you know what the rules are as a police driver on a blue light run?

How do you deal with a police car when they are travelling behind you with blue lights?

These are just a few examples of things I am looking for, if you have any other information, examples or even moans you would like to add, then that would be greatly appreciated.

If you chose to answer this question as a trained police driver, then please state that in your response, the criteria I must research is specific to "general public" but I am more than willing to read answers from trained officers.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

How do pothole's apear in some roads overnight? Some mornings after a bit of rain there are potholes bigger than a football all over the road, surley the rain shouldn't be able to wear down the road that quick?

After 10-11pm have designated lanes/roads for drunk people to drive on??!

That way the poor old drunkards can get home without getting cold and they're only risking your own life by driving on these crazy roads...! If you dont want to risk it then stay sober and drive on the sober section

Neighbor hoards all the street parking on my block. He also allows all his friends, relatives & coworkers to park overnight. I'm often left with no choice but to park in front of my own driveway. Talking to him only makes matters worse. What can I do?

I will only use it occasionally, but it beats renting a van to move large items such as furniture.

I talked to my parents about letting me get my license but they think its too dangerous out there. I got the insurance covered and they trust me alot but they just don't think i have enough experience behind the wheel. I have told them that the driver's test to get your license is suppose to let you know if your ready to drive or not but they won't believe me. It's not that my parents don't trust me but they want me to be safe but i'm not sure how to show that. thanks

What do you think we should do to get a law passed for kids to have to wear seatbelts on schoolbusses. Our kids need to be safer and someone needs to make a move to make it a law just like any other moving vehicle law. You have to wear a seatbelt!!

I made a right turn after making my stop and watch for cars. I did not see any vehicle. all of the sudden a car behind me "avoided hitting me and changed line so another car rear endend him. The bottom line: I did not hit anyone, no one hit me, they wanted to make the light, they were speeding, I did my stop and at that time no cars were comming. Now the guy who was rear endend states this: "because I did not want to hit you; I got hit, so the guy who hit me is blaming you and you need to contact my insurance"

Please give me your most honest answer, If It is my fault I will accept the consequences, but if not, definitely I will not be the one who pays for people wanting to make the lights.

thank you

Increasing the road tax for gas guzzling cars is hardly a solution for changing the global warming. It would seem it is only another tax on the motorist . Surely road tax is meant to ensure people have the right to drive , its a double whammy.

Sya for example. You are getting on to the highway. As you enter there is a 18 wheeler. No way if you speed up you'll make it in front of it. So you brake to slow down a bit. But as youenter there is another 18 wheeler coming. As ou merge on it looks about a turck length away. But the truck was going to fast. Now it is almost about to hit you. What do you do?

if a fixed penalty was imposed for speeding i would agree but when you see the signs little angel on board or my little princess or whatever dont you think that these people should also be charged with endangering the life of a minor i am not talking about 90 miles per hour but 45 in a 30 zone or near a school where the have probably picked up the other little angel
