My 8 mo. little girl is getting big for her infant seat, but is not at the hight or weight requirment to graduate to the next safety seat a toddler would use. She also sweats like crazy around her neck and head because of that head support thing. I wan't safety a priority. Is it unsafe to remove it now that she has control of her head and neck?

It was very busy but no body seemed to know how to help except to phone emergency should every one who holds a driving licence be made to learn first aid. I still feel sick about it now.

You are driving out of a side street onto a really busy 4 lane road. There is a traffic light equipped with vehcile sensors and a sign that says "No turn on red". You have sat at the light for a good 5+ minutes and realize the light is stuck. There are 3 or 4 cars behind you. People behind you being to blow thier horns. How do you get out of this situation without breaking the law or the jaw of the guy behind you?
(That last part's a joke, but this is a serious question)

I am just curious about this. I have over 20 years experience driving a tractor -trailer and have had no accidents. My truck will go triple digit on the ole speedometer if I push it.

I have been told by a police officer that they get a lot of phone calls from disgruntled drivers snitching on other drivers about the stupidest things. Is this true? Why would someone even want to waste their time snitching on someone when it can't even be proven?

I have noticed that cars will speed up only to ride a semis back bumper and a lot of them will cut in front of them only to step on their brakes to make a turn. WHY?

At a stop sign I know flashing your lights gives right of way to the other drivers. But while driving, in motion, does it warn others not to proceed, 'Im comin through'?

why do people have to sit in the middle lane on our uk motorways!!! its embarrising!!
and so annoying!!!!

and its not safer because it just causes more conjestion because people are trying to over take in the right hand lane!!!

I'm sick of always seeing cars come of a slip road and go STRAIGHT! into the middle lane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its the same on dual carriageways aswell they sit in right hand lane coz they're turning right 18 miles down the road!!!!!!

I live in a small town and whenever I call a taxi, they always stop and pick up other passengers on the way, making the total in the car sometimes 6, 7 to 8. One time an infant was placed in the middle of the front seat with no restraint and the cabbie said nothing. Tonight we went 20 miles out of our way, to the next town, to pick up someone else before they dropped us off. All the time charging each one fare for the trip. We are always squeezed in the backseat sharing the cab but not the fare. Is this illegal for the cab to be double faring or sometimes triple faring? Something just doesn't seem right about this whole thing. I thought when you called for a taxi, it would be up to us to make the decision of whether we stopped to get other passengers.... or at least the cab driver would ask us if we minded... but it's mandatory in this town. Tonight we were even told that we couldn't put our bags, (from Wal-Mart) in the backseat because he was stopping to get other passengers.??? HELP!

Okay, gang, here it goes.

We are searching for:

235/75/R 15 (and R 16) Radial tires for our two Chevrolet Silverado C-1500, 2 wheel drive trucks (years 1996 and 2003).

We are interested in:
1) a triple tread tire that is great in the rain
2) raised white letters (or outlined letters)
3) not HORRIBLY expensive!! I mean, we don't want to pay the national debt of a small country to outfit both trucks, y'know?

Many thanks in advance for any help, advice, stories from personal experience, suggestions (keep them clean, please, this is a family show) that will help us in our quest for great, safe tires.

DRIVE SAFELY!

Thank you again.

When a school bus is stopped--red lights on--on a four-lane road (not divided), does opposing traffic have to stop? I see some people stop, and others just go.

I live in Ohio. I stop anyway just to be on the safe side.
