17. No wait, it's 22.
Seriously, there is no way of telling. No one keeps statistics on teens killed while driving AND talking on cell phones.

There are some interesting polls out there which show that new drivers are more susceptible to auto accidents because of the use of more high tech devices in cars.
The youngest drivers, ages 16-20, are far more likely to talk on a cell phone while driving (64 percent compared to 43 percent of all drivers) and even to read or send text messages while driving (32 percent compared to 6 percent of all drivers.)
While one in three drivers say cell phone usage by other drivers is their greatest aggravation on the road, 43 percent say they use a cell phone while driving . And 70 percent of parents of teen drivers say their children have cell phones. Eleven states and the District of Columbia have laws restricting cell phones while driving, while 19 states also track mobile phone involvement in auto crashes.
This age group makes up 7% of licensed drivers, but suffers 14% of fatalities and 20% of all reported accidents.
Hope some of this info helps, though I'm not sure the number of fatalities there are by teen drivers while using a cell phone. Keep in mind though, that driving behaviors and habits displayed by teens are learned mainly by watching their parents. Something to think about.

Fewer than the number of 20+ people who die each day while talking on their cell phones and driving.
Where the hell did you get the idea that teen-age is synonymous with irresponsibility?

Too many teens and just too many people, period! It is sad, I see it everyday, almost everywhere I look. People talking while driving. People really need to invest in ear pieces or something! It has to be realized that it isn't just teens, its everyone! I hope that people start realizing that it isn't just their lives they can affect, it is the people in the other vehicles as well.

I don't know. Even if it is only 1, it's still a tragedy. It could have been prevented.
Maybe tomorrow that 1 will be you. Sobering thought, isn't it??
