THERE SHOULD BE ZERO TOLERANCE ON SPEEDING! AND AN AUTOMATIC THEORY AND PRACTICAL RE TEST! BUT THEN I ALSO THINK THERE SHOULD BE ZERO TOLERANCE ON DRINKING BEFORE DRIVING (NOT EVEN A SNIFF) THE PEOPLE WHO DO BOTH OF THESE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO COMPLAIN IF THEY WERE HIT BY A SPEEDING CAR OR A DRUNK DRIVER.AS FOR THE CHILD SIGNS ON BOARD CARS THERE DOESNT SEEM MUCH POINT IN WARNING OTHER DRIVERS THAT YOUR KIDS ARE IN THE CAR IF YOU ARE DRIVING LIKE AN **** YOURSELF! AND YES THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT IF NOT CHILD ABUSE!

i would tend to agree with you on that point. its all well and good if you want to risk your own life, but the little 'uns don't have a say. i got done for doing 35 in a 30 zone (country lane, nowhere near a school) and ended up doing a speed awareness course. it really opened my eyes to the dangers. i came away from it with a completely different outlook. i think some of the elements of this course should be mandatory learning. i never have nor will i break the speed limit with children in my car

It's a very good poing because if they did happen to have an accident and their passenger was injured, then the driver is charged with culpable driving causing injury. So therefore it is only logical that if a driver is caught speeding and why not drink-driving too, then they should cop an additional charge of endangering lives for each additional passenger they have, not just for children.

as a parent i agree higher penalties should be placed on parents who endanger the lives of their children and other children15 miles over in a school zone or near a park dramatically effects stopping distance and may it only be 5 or ten miles over the speed limit the stopping distance is affected by ten or fifteen feet in a school zone or park area this is crucial

first off, use punctuation. it took me about 5 minutes to figure out your question because it was just one huge run-on sentence...
second, i agree. if they have a minor in their car they technically ARE endagering them if they're driving that fast, so there should be a law against that. like maybe an extra dollar amount to their ticket for each 5 miles per hour over the speed limit if there's a child on board.

No, I don't think so. I believe speed limits should be eliminated altogether, this will make drivers thinking about driving when driving, no matter are if they alone or with chlidren.

They should just have automatic gunfire from the speed cameras.
That's the way forward if you ask me.
They should still take pictures - and broadcast them so that people will learn not to f'uck with the law.

I think people should be arrested for putting these tacky signs into their cars. Do they believe that it should afford them special privileges just because they have have their sprogs in the car?
