The seatbelts in my car won't wind back up. My foot caught in the driver's side seatbelt and I injured my arm. I wonder if there is a history of problems. Thanks.

I know the 1999/2000 seatbealt were recalled- "1999-2000 Mustang: Seatbelt retractor may have incorrectly formed pin shaft that could, in some circumstances, prevent seatbelt webbing from being extracted."

I'm not sure about 2001 though

I would take that to the dealership!! That should be fixed for free regardless if there's a recall on it or not.

The seat belt needs to be replaced or it may have something stuck in it.

i have an 02 with the same problem. argh! i hate it if you learn how to fix it please let us all know!
