I have lived my life just dreaming of owning one. I have always been fascinated with them and the life style that follows a person who owns one. Unfortunately, I was never able to afford one. Now I am 53 and it is my last dream. Can anyone make that possible for me?

My Yamaha FZ6 isnot a bike thats designed for any passenger on the back, the seat is too small and the suspension is limited to a certain weight.
So when some overweight fat woman asks me to take her for a ride I tell her "NO" this bike can't handle any passenger, then her feelings gets hurt and she tells her friends I said she's too fat, then everybody is mad at me!
Whats a better excuse i could use without hurting her feelings?

I have noticed that motorcycle engines tend to have an uneven rhythm while idling, as though a cylinder is misfiring. Is it that motorcycle engines have an asymmetric firing order? If so, what is the purpose of the asymmetry?

I've been wanting to get a street/sport bike for some time now but been having a tough time deciding on what to get because I like too many of them! Is there a particular good starter bike out there for me? And do you think I'll have to lower it because of my height. I still have to get my permit and take the safety course because none of my friends who has a bike doesn't have time to teach me. Anybody willing to teach me or want to take me on a ride on their bike? And is the test and driving hard to do?

there are 2 major laws that seem to be causing more & more friction between police/politicians & free spirited motorcyclists.
they are the helmet laws & the noise pollution laws.
but instead of making all these rules & fines, what if there were to be a deal made out with insurance companies.
for I've seen commercials of a car insurance company (i believe it's state farm, or all state, but nonetheless...) that offers rewards & such for good drivers. can we offer the same for motorcycle insurance? as in, there should be a mandated law for one to wear a helmet & to keep the sound of their hog or crotch rocket to a minimum, but instead say that if they do such things, the high cost of insurance might go down a bit.
or something of a manor of that, please tell me what you think, this idea is just in its rough draft stages. thank you.

When I am riding my bike I find it alot easier turning left at speed than turning right. I can't explain it- it just feels better. Maybe it might be the positioning of the controls is a factor. Am I alone in this? Do you have a preference for turning one way than the other?

So I finally saved up enough money to get a new bike, but it's the very end of the riding season here (colorado), and there's only a few days left. My question is can I save money by buying the bike now and storing it for the winter, or am I better off just waiting till spring? If it is cheaper now, is it worth having seven thousand dollars sit in my garage all winter?

I cleaned out the carb, relaced the spark plug, checked the air filter and did a compresion check. It blew 150psi. It started when I primed it with start flud. It had little power and would not idel. My brother said it has been like that since he put rings in it. Could he have got the cam timming off? How do I check? What elese could it be?

its all in one piece with i think the proper amount of grease within i reattached to the wheel and left other in apart its not spinning ???? hhhheeeeellllpppppp!!!!!!! very frusterating

Seat that came with the bike is smooth but all references to the stock seat show 52166-01 and this seat has buttons in it. The seat in question came with the bike new. I referenced the 2001 P&A catalog and do not see it in there so I am assuming that it is not a P&A part. Prior to 2001 the stock seat had a -96 part number but that still has the buttons in it. From the pictures in the part book it looks like a lowrider seat to me but all references I find say that the FXDWG uses a unique seat HELP...

I'm sure either that 155mph stone was the worst, or the thrown cigarette, courtesy of some car driver....which hit me in the eye.

I am looking at street bikes cause my boyfriend REALLY wants one and even though I am so against it cause they are extrememly unsafe...I can see how happy he would be if he had one. So I am just looking around and checking out prices. Well, I came across this one.....

that within 10 months I can pay for a Kawasaki ninja 250($4,000) with cash/cashiers check? i will 16 years old in 5 months...and i have to pay for the classes and bike myself... i need to know what kinda job i can get that will pay enough that i cna get a streetbike within the next year??

I own a 1985 Honda Magna. It is a V-twin I do believe. Well on the V-twin part of my bike, which is black. If you are familiar with these bikes or others like it, you will know that the v-twin part has what appears to be 4 separate carberators on them. I am not sure if they are carbs, but they appear to be. On those carbs are a sort of nipple with a screw on the side of it. It appears as if those nipples are leaking gas. It is leaking from somewhere , and it appears as if it coming from them nipples. But only 2 of them are doing it. Can anyone tell me why, and how to fix it?
