Anyone attend the day at Williams F1 last weekend?

Got to try out several new Harleys.

I didnt think Harleys were my thing but I thought I would go along out of curiosity - and I was actually surprised how much fun they were and easy to ride too, even the big ones.

So difficult to choose one though - any suggestions as to the pick of the bunch?

Also let me know if you were there and what you thought of the day (especially if you were the new girl with the yellow harley top - sorry didnt catch your name - hope your first day was not too daunting).

When starting there is a grinding sound and motor will not turn over. It will not push start either. I was told it would be the starter clutch, but after taking apart i found there are two allen bolts on the starter clutch that are finger tight. Could this cause slippage and Should these be tight and could it be the problem?

I had an engine built on S&S big bore cases, stock flywheels and conn rods, JIM's shafts, KB pistons and CCI 3 5/8 cylinders, JIM's lifters, Andrews B cam etc, etc..

I had just over 500 miles on it when...there I was...cruising down the hiway...tick, tick, tick for about 2 seconds but loud enough to hear over the road noise and pipes. Then the rear cylinder exploded. There was bits of piston and cylinder and hot oil all over me, my ride and the road.

Any guesses? It looks like either the cylinder had a fault and exploded and the piston followed suit when it went rattling around nuts or the piston let go and took everything with it.

I had been doing oil changes with high quality after the first run, 25 miles and at each 100 mile marker after that.

Either way...cases are damaged in teh spigots, rods bent and I'm missing a cylinder....$$$$$$$

I mean, cars have windscreen wipers to keep clear vision.
How do motorcyclists see through the visor with all that rain on it?

also is it loud when riding? or does the helmet provide good acoustic protection to keep it quiet?

I was kinda looking toward LED lighting mainly for the reason that they don't draw much power when they are on. I know if I go for a name brand or something that comes pre. made. all you have to do is "plug and play" then I will be charged an arm and a leg. I HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIANCE. So building the kit won't be a prob. but getting the wright product for the job is my prob. I would think it needs to be water resistant and bright! I am looking for like a briliant blue or something like that. Any Ideas?

Curious about the tricks of putting street tires on my crf 250, can i just put a set of street tires on the stock rims or would I be better off with a certain size of wheels?

I even hooked up jumper cables from my car to the bike but it won't even light anything up! WTH did I do??! Dang!

Battery wasn't backwards, fuses are fine. I'll check the ignition because when I turn it, nothing happens. No lights come on or anything.
