I was kinda looking toward LED lighting mainly for the reason that they don't draw much power when they are on. I know if I go for a name brand or something that comes pre. made. all you have to do is "plug and play" then I will be charged an arm and a leg. I HAVE ELECTRICAL EXPERIANCE. So building the kit won't be a prob. but getting the wright product for the job is my prob. I would think it needs to be water resistant and bright! I am looking for like a briliant blue or something like that. Any Ideas?

I can't really answer your question, if you have to build them yourself. However, if you don't mind premanufactured lights, and you're only looking to save money, look for lights on ebay. You'll be amazed at what you find for sale there.

"lizard lights" sound like what you need. Try J&P cycle online or Dennis Kirk online, they both carry those, Kuryakin is the actual manufacturer of them, along with other types of accent lights, you can also find them online.
Good luck

Kuryakyn and Dr. Neon are both shown in the J&P Cycles catalog.

check out www.jcwhitney.com, they have a small, but pretty good selection of led's, and good prices.
