It may still be possible on a 3 wheeled car with no reverse gear. There were such cars back in the 60's and 70's e.g. Messerschmidt, Heinkel, Reliant Robin (if the reverse gear was locked out), Bond minicar. You cannot drive a regular car i.e. one with an operational reverse gear. I recommend you check with the DVLA because my info may not reflect today's laws. Good Luck

If your motorcycle licence is less than about 15 years old you won't be able to drive a Reliant Robin. It's a common misconception that you can; older licences allowed you to drive any three-wheeler but there was a weight limit imposed some years back and the Reliant Robin is above that limit. I believe there is a car called the Aixam 500, which although it has 4 wheels is not classed as a car - it's a "quadricycle" as it is below the weight limit for a car, and can be driven on a full UK motorcycle licence.
Stupid people please take note - it's a "RELIANT ROBIN", Reliant is the name of the company and Robin is the model name - would you say Escort Ford or Nova Vauxhall?

Yes, you can.
Apart from the ubiquitous Reliant Robin (and it's NOT Robin Reliant - you don't say Astra Vauxhall, do you??), you can drive a 'micro-car' on a full motorcycle licence (Category A). They are in the same class as trike and quads.
They may not be pretty, but they all have a roof and a heater...

A reliant
for the reasons already stated
Note to Robert the reverse gear law was rescinded in about 1964/5
I had 2 friends at this time who both had Reliants and when the law changed they both went to their car during dinner brake at work, Removed the bar stopping the cars from going into reverse and spent the rest of their lunch time reversing all around the factory

You can drive a Robin Reliant. A car is classified as a vehicle with four wheels. A robin reliant has three and as such, its classified as a motorbike.
