its all in one piece with i think the proper amount of grease within i reattached to the wheel and left other in apart its not spinning ???? hhhheeeeellllpppppp!!!!!!! very frusterating

the one end that goes into the tire is different looking then the other end ? the end that goes up into the speedo part looks kinda rounded at the tip of it?

Make sure the lower end is engaged in the speedometer drive mechanism. The cable end has a slot in it which has to engage in a mirror image tab inside the unit. Take the cable loose at the speedometer and twist it with your fingers while pushing down on it a bit and it should engage. When engaged, there'll be approximately 1/2 inch of cable sticking above the upper end of the cable (not the nut).

Are you sure its the cable? If you've had the wheel out it may be the speedo drive gearbox. It has a couple of tabs which must be aligned into slots on wheel. The inner cable should slide out from outer through the bottom end, it could be broken internally
