It is funny watching the young sport bike riders out there trying to show off. Usually people in their teens or 20s. When they stop at a red light, they look around at everyone in the cars like they are so cool. Are you having an identity crisis? Come on, the people in their cars do not know who you are so why are you trying to show off for people you will never know. LOL. Also, you get all of this gear that matches your bike so that you will "look" cool/pretty riding around. Give me a break. You are causing us all to doubt your heterosexuality. Ride your bike because you want decent transportation, not because you want to try to impress people or use it as a fashion statement.

I am thinking of buying a 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 that has 4000 miles on it. The owner says that he gets an f1 code sometimes and said that the dealership said it doesn't matter. I am wondering what that is and is it something that I should worry about or rethink purchasing the bike.

My brother let me take out is Yamaha FZ6 and it gave me the bug to get a faster bike... I like the FZ6 but it feels a little heavy for me. I sat on a Suzuki GSX-R and thought that felt pretty nice - I like the 2008 GSX-650F because it has a more upright position like the FZ6. I also sat on a lowered Honda CBR and really really liked that but Hondas are pricey....

What would you reccomend for an upgrade? I am female, 5'1" and about 125lbs. Thanks!

I have a problem with my honda fireblade 900cc bike. The battery doesn't charge properly, i think it could be a problem with the regulator/rectifier. I have done some basic fault finding but have still not got to the bottom of it. Any ideas? The battery is brand new.

Ok im looking to purchase a sports bike (crotch rocket) but have never drove a motorcyle. I need to know what would be the best bike to get. I want one that looks sweet, one that is under $8000 and one that preforms well

I did some research and i like how the Suzuki Katana 750 looks, so one that is on the looks of that one
thanks!

Lets start off with I DON’T CARE if you think that extended service plans aren’t a great investment. For us, the peace of mind is worth the cost. Which isn’t to say we don’t care about the cost.

So, my wife’s Road King is about to run out of factory warranty and we want to purchase the 5 year (total of 7 years) extended service plan. Do any of you have a suggestion where we can purchase the extended service plan at a good discount.

If you work at a HD dealership and want to offer me the discount direct without going public feel free to contact me directly by email.

I would like to buy this week.

Thank you for your time and info.

I am a first time rider and I want to know how do you go down a steep hill, what speed should I be going, do I continually keep on the brakes, should I use just the front just the rear or both. On my way home after work I have to go down a hill thats about at a 45 degree angle, or steeper. It runs about a mile long, maybe 3/4 of a mile I haven't really checked. Going up the hill is fine, but im not sure how to get down. Im at work right now and im kind of freaking out about going down hill. Oh and I ride a 07 Yamaha R6s, My wife surprised me with it. Don't worry im on my lunch break. Any help would be appreciated.

my boyfriend want to get a motorbike, but i don't think it's a good idea.

were in the motions of buying a house and are going to start a family in the next few years. obviously i wouldn't want anything to happen to him anyway but i feel even more nervous now because i don't want to be stuck with a mortgage i can't pay and a child if something does happen to him.

that ad on tv freaks me out aswell, the woman who has a young baby and is feeding her husband from a beaker cause he's crashed a bike and is basically a vegetable.

i told him how i feel but he thinks i'm worrying too much.

i want to put my mind at ease but theres just so many risks involved with bikes, isn't there?

am i right to worry or over exaggerating????

I have a friend that swears if you have two identical motorcycles the one that is carborated will outrun the one that is fuel injected. Is this true? Isn't it really about the amount of fuel that is sent into the engine not nessasarly the way it is sent

My motorcycle is stolen. I had paid 5k to a private party, but registered it for just 1000 bucks to avoid sales tax. the insurance company is asking me to mention the amount i paid, should i put the original cost (5k) or the amount registered (1000$). also, how much will i actually get back, will they pay me 1000$ (amount on the dmv registration) or will they pay me the kbb value or market value???

I just inherited my father's old motorcycle (1973 Honda CB350) and will have it road ready soon. However, he took the turn signals off many, many years ago so that all it has is a headlight and tail light. Is it legal to ride the bike in this manner just using hand signals? I've heard of many people getting ticketed for missing/burnt out headlights but not for missing the turn signals.

Everytime I rev the engine up before shifting, the glass on my odometer rattles and sounds like crap. When I rest my hand on it, it stops so that is definitely it. It doesn't appear to unscrew, any ideas on how to tighten the glass? Can it be removed somehow?

Hi there, I am a young man who wants to learn about motorcycle mechanics (and mechanics in general). I have no prior knowledge and don't know the difference between a saddle and a spark plug.

I have about £100 to spend on a motorcycle that will live in my garage, for me to tinket with, take apart, put back together and maybe even ride one day if I do not break it entirely!

What bike, available in the UK, would you recommend- and where's the best place to look? Obviously I am aiming at a basket case but it would be nice if it ran, even very roughly.

Thanks
